From a design viewpoint, there is much similarity between the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra and its predecessor, with a vegan leather rear panel, a larger cover display, and an aluminium frame. It is said to offer a slightly larger 6.96-inch main folding display, with a similar 4.0-inch cover display which, on the bottom right corner, accommodates two rear cameras. Either display is expected to have a refresh rate of 165Hz, but there may be some improved brightness. Colour options and finishes could also work in raising the device’s sense of premiumness.

In performance terms, it is expected that Motorola will go all out in flagship performance this year. Hence, the Razr 60 Ultra could be launched with Snapdragon 8 Elite, which isn’t just performance-wise bumping but also comes with the cost. In addition to this, its dual camera setup may have a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera, both endorsed by Pantone. Finally, this has been the most important battery issue for foldables in clamshell style. However, this year, the Razr 60 Ultra is likely to come with a boost in battery from 4000mAh, which could reach 4275 or 4500 mAh.

Officially bedding in the Razr 60 Ultra in Q2 2025 means we should expect to see the smartphone in the window of April to June. Reports so far indicate that the Razr 60 Ultra is expected to receive major price changes. A report by 91Mobiles mentioned that the phone’s starting European price is €1,346.90 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. By comparison, Razr 50 Ultra was priced at €1199 in Europe for a similar storage option. Hence, in India, the priced over 1 Lakh can be expected. Well, considering the upgrades now, that might not be a huge issue.
